SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!! well at this point in time anyway (ooops! seem to becoming cynical!)
Hi all
Just a quickie as London Internet Cafe prices are criminal!
Kayla went down for Surgery yesterday at 3PM It was the pain team fitting a new epidural first followed by the gynae team then the bowel team who started at 5PM.
Kayla was back in CCU by 8:45PM and I saw her at 9:30PM. She was on a ventillator and so did not know I was there.
The Op phase was a total success with the fistula being bypassed and her small bowel resected so she did not wind up with an illiostomy to go with the colostomy and urostomy!!!!! (Just too many "Tomy's") Mr B said it had been a text book procedure with Kayla staying stable throughout!
ABOUT BLOODY TIME!!!!!!!!
They woke her up just now and took her off the ventillator. She will spend a few days in the CCU as she has a history of being naughty! (Well a suspected pulmonary embolism that she had last time is very very naughty in the CCU's book!) So fingers crossed she will carry on in this positive manner. She does have a temp and is in a lot of pain but hey bowel surgery aint a walk in the park is it???
Take care all............................. I had better get back
